Business and Service Continuity / Service Continuity

Service Continuity is an essential part of any Business Continuity strategy which focuses on preventive and detective measures aimed at preventing and detecting unwanted events. It specifically addresses risks that could threaten the continuity or seriously impact technology services. In doing this, these risks can be reduced to an acceptable level for the business and IT can also ensure that they can meet the agreed service level with the business.

Our consultants can help an organisation draw up a plan to ensure that technology services can recover and continue to operate in the event of an incident - minimising the risk by adopting a mix of proactive and reactive measures through efficient deployment of a mix of tools and technologies. These risks include attack, loss, damage, denial of service, failure, corruption or non-performance of key technonogy assets.

We carry out risk assessments on each of the technology services to identify the assets, threats, vulnerabilities and countermeasures for each service. The result allows us to establish valid criteria and processes that technology services can follow to establish the continuity and recovery requirements of any service. We work with organisations to embed this on their operating processes and procedures in a seamless manner following the recovery objectives and reequirements of the business.
